AMENDMENTS 83 - 411 - Draft opinion Circularity requirements for vehicle design and on management of end-of-life vehicles, amending Regulations (EU) 2018/858 and 2019/1020 and repealing Directives 2000/53/EC and 2005/64/EC

This amendment seeks to exclude not only vehicles of historical interest but also all their partsand spare components from being classified as end-of-life vehicles. This exclusion is essentialto ensure that these vehicles can always be repaired and maintained, thereby preserving theirhistorical and cultural value. By allowing access to necessary parts and components, we canensure the continued operation and preservation of these important vehicles for futuregenerations.
