14 a. Welcomes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the EU Global Health Strategy and calls on the Commission to ensure that the preparedness strategy fully addresses the needs of persons with disabilities and that emergency responses uphold their dignity, autonomy, and safety, including through the distribution of accessible alerts and communication, mobility accommodations, and by training emergency personnel to assist people with a range of disabilities respectfully and effectively;
